TToT -the Wakefield Doctrine- ‘the simpler, the better’

Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)

Ten (legs) of Thankful

Ten (legs) of Thankful (sorta)

1)  Una   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8avFVHxfI4

2) Phyllis

3) the Wakefield Doctrine (‘sine qua non‘)

4) Work (the Day Job that cannot be Quit, and, fortunately is of a character and nature as to not only permit me to pursue the interests, (in part represented in this list), but to  offer a forgiving context in which I can strive to self-improve myself)

5) Graviteers (Val, Christine, Joy, Lisa, Sarah and Kristi)

6) Co-hostinae (Christine, Dyanne, Lisa, zoe, Michelle, Kristi, Sarah, Kristi)  …and, of course, Our Miss Lewis

7) ‘Almira’ (the story of two women, one who is old and then young, traveling through time, from the past into the present, the other, young but reluctantly maturing, is returning from far away and must find her real home)

8) BoSR/SBoR: If you Need it and can express what you Need, has the force of Seven Guard Virgins, some (of whom) dance to teach you to remember and others dance to help you forgive.

9) a bunch of other people who are largely real, in some aspect imaginary, but altogether influential on the unfolding of my future.

10) SR 1.3

(and a little, ‘now why on earth would that song be playing in my head as I awake, this Saturday morning’ music)

clarkscottroger About clarkscottroger
Well, what exactly do you want to know? Whether I am a clark or a scott or roger? If you have to ask, then you need to keep reading the Posts for two reasons: a)to get a clear enough understanding to be able to make the determination of which type I am and 2) to realize that by definition I am all three.* *which is true for you as well, all three...but mostly one

  1. Denise says:

    FRIST!
    ? Really ??

  2. Denise says:

Luv, luv, luv (as they say) the catepillar photo! How excellent :)

Who does know why particular songs awaken us or accompany us all day…long?
Catchy tune for sure but um….I don’t want it in my head!

    Nice list here today.

  3. ivywalker says:

Cool pic. I often wonder why i am plagued by Yellow Submarine

  4. That caterpillar though. What in the?
Looks like me when someone says “Who wants the last cookie?”
I’m all about cookies and lasts….

    • clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

gypsy moth I think… guess they’re really out there this year… modern technology at it’s finest

  5. dyannedillon says:

The caterpillar photo is cool and yet oh so creepy. It reminds me of those nasty webworms that were in our trees late last summer and fall.
You’re going to drive right off a cliff one of these days while videoing the Friday walk.

    • clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

      yeah, I totally agree.
I still had most of my feet on the floor (of the car) as I leaned over to get the shot

  6. Carin says:

Okay the caterpillar freaks me out. :)
I’d say I prefers looking at other creatures. http://www.36hourworkweek.com/2016/06/life.html

  7. Lizzi says:

For REAL why one earth? That’s such an odd song to have in your head.

Solid list. And I hope the future of your now is a good one, whomsoever might influence it along its way.

    • clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

      …it’s an odd head!
thank you, lists is good. yeah, them timelines, (tempting to anticipate, very self-risky to try to alter*)

      * the very famous ‘Monkey’s Paw’ effect

  8. valj2750 says:

Not a big country music fan except, of course, for Mr. Jackson.

    • clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

I was not, back in the day (especially after this audition back in the 70s… long story short, for whatever reason, it did not occur to anyone in the band to ask the lead singer/front man if he had ever played out (on stage, in public)… lol house lights come down…singer freezes solid. not the most fun night in my life).
But nowadays it seems some of the better rock and roll is heard on pop country stations.

  9. herheadache says:

I love the story of the two women, old and young, like all others. Thanks for writing it.

  10. Cynthia says:

Came over and read this weekend, but didn’t comment…til now.
Was working on that first draft AND am 1 hour away from finishing. I think. LOL.
As always, enjoyed your list of thankfuls and Happy Monday. Not that they’re particularly enjoyable to me. My favorite day, I think is…Friday. It’s the anticipation, you know?

    • clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

the happy-hood of this this Monday is somewhat in question, but thanks for the early comment…. that always is a good thing

  11. Agree on the caterpillar – cool photo and yet oh so gross. More legs than a dog? Keep it away from me, please.
