TToT -the Wakefield Doctrine-

Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)

Just for the record: nothing. in our humble opinion, sayings ‘Happy Thanksgiving’ better than Alice and her T-virus.

Somehow we’re already at the Friday/Saturday phase of the week! Which, if you’re a regular reader of everyone’s favorite personality theory blog, you’ll know that that means it’s time for a Ten Things of Thankful post. A creation of our Miss Lewis (no relation to that other famous Lewis, CS, at least that’s the official position that Lizzi is maintaining. For the the moment. I’ve already said too much. Seriously, don’t give it another thought. Put it out of your mind. She is not related. End of story.)

Being T-Giving week, I thought I’d take it easy and try for a pictorial TToT. Actually the reason this is an option generates our first Grat Item. Ironically it’s a non-photo item:

1)  Thanks and shout out to Valerie and her ‘My World at the Moment‘ group on ‘the Facebook’ It’s a fun thing to send in pitchas of whatever happens to be in front of you at a given moment. (Sorry, I don’t have a photo of the group, which surely must create a paradox of the first order, or, at very least, a conundrum (of some sort).)

2) Phyllis and Una (first of the photos…. this was Thursday (yeah, I know! you’d have never guessed))

3) Work  (I suppose…. well, at least I have a recent photo)

4) Being way out of shape…. enough so that I totally felt it after my brief bridge repair project. I’m glad I was so sore afterwards, it’ll help me to remember to start to remind myself to try and exercise more.

5) ‘Almira‘  this is such an amazing facet of my world these days. It’s the story of Almira Gulch and, unavoidably, Dorothy Gale and some people we all grew up thinking we knew, (such as Auntie Em and Uncle Henry Gale and Hunk) and people we might have learned about in history class, (one, Annie LoPizzo) and several rather fun and interesting people such as Eliza Thornberg and Dr Thaddeus Morgan and, our darkly shining knight, Edward. Well, the story has been unfolding over the last… 33 weeks and its been quite the tale. Here’s a link to Chapter 4, which is one of my favorites.  But the thing that makes this a constant on my TToT lists is it’s also about the people who have come along and kept me company/grounded/on script each week: Kerry and Valerie, Denise and Phyllis. Thanks, guys!

6) the One, the Only, the Wakefield Doctrine! surely the most useful and fun of all personality theories!

7) zoe and her Six Sentence Story every Thursday very fun and satisfying and entertaining …. you really need to stop in next week and try your hand at a Six

8) the Graviteers  Valerie and Joy, Lisa and Sarah, Kristi and our prodigal daughter,  Christine… now you want an example of the positive and productive and useful application of this internet thing in the service of self-improving oneself? look no further!

9) the Book of Secret Rules (aka the Secret Book of Rules)

10) SR 1.3

Well, what exactly do you want to know? Whether I am a clark or a scott or roger? If you have to ask, then you need to keep reading the Posts for two reasons: a)to get a clear enough understanding to be able to make the determination of which type I am and 2) to realize that by definition I am all three.* *which is true for you as well, all three...but mostly one

My World at the Moment has been fun–Valerie had a good idea.
Looks like you had a nice Thanksgiving!

  2. valj2750 says:

Thanks for the shout out and please feel free to add anyone interested in participating. My daughter calls the group snap chat for oldsters, but we know it is so much more than that. ;)

    • clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

certainly. Well, it would not be mature for me to suggest that the group is a image-centric forum intend for those not life-experienced-challenged
      lol

  3. herheadache says:

You’re welcome and I look forward to seeing how this thing plays out. Any hints you’d care to share?
    ;-)

    • clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

me too! (whats interesting is that even though there are times when I get a ‘glimpse ahead’ in the story, but then a surprisingly high percentage of the time that changes and the story goes in a different direction….nothing radically different, of course) but like the change (better, the hidden side of Hunk Dietrich, that’s the kind of thing I’m finding fun)

  4. Sageleaf says:

Glad for the Doctrine, too! Happy T-giving. Was going to try to “stay home and call in” but we have been formally invited back to the in-laws’ for dinner tonight with a special invitation for Vinny. So…I may not be able to seeing how they scheduled everyone to get there at 7:30, lol.
    But well…

  5. Sageleaf says:

Went over to read at JukePop. (Don’t have an account, yet.) But dang! When you just gonna make this a book? :P The writing’s so good!

    • clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

Thank you! We’re getting there… the process is locked in, a chapter a week until the story is done, and then the book! I can’t imagine how you can create at the rate (that you describe Marina being written! man… no matter what it seems like one chapter per week is it. Getting near the end, though)

  6. Una is the picture of patience while under her breath she’s mumbling to stop with the pictures and get carving that turkey!
Chapter 34 is right around the corner….just follow….:)
