Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)

I should be ‘on the road’ quite a bit today. Driving my car ( local pronunciation:  cah), for a good part of this  afternoon.

you know what should be bothering me, more than it apparently is? that I’m not overly concerned about the prospect of a Post-a-Day (as in 29 more Posts). worse,  (waay  worse!) is that I cannot seem to step out of this frame of reference of ‘author-as-subject’ thing. When I started the blog it was ‘the Wakefield Doctrine (written by some guy who seemed to know an awful lot about it)’. I have the feeling that if someone were to ask a Reader today, ‘whats the deal with that personality theory blog you keep referring to?’  a very high-probablity answer would be: “that’s clark’s blog and he writes about this funny-but somehow-true personality theory.”

the most remarkable thing about the Wakefield Doctrine? simply that not only has it written itself since I started, but it has been, for want of a better word, self-motivating.  and it makes me do things that I would not have, in a million years, done. I am a clark. That means, among a bunch of things that, I do not enjoy:

• having my picture taken
• having my voice recorded (and played back in front of ….people)
• introducing myself to total strangers
• writing in public
• talking in front of a group of people (strangers and friends)
• writing a blog revealing personal and semi-personal details, both real and imagined
• being liked and admired

hey!  you know, if you were feeling adventurous and wanted to be interviewed on the phone (with a video of my hat as a set piece)…we can do this one of two ways:

2. we agree on a time and I will open the Conference call line which means you call the number and we talk…hell, if you have any friends, invite them to call in… in any event thats what I got for Post #5
