TToT (“Day will break and I’m gonna wake…) the Wakefield Doctrine ( …and start to bake a sugar cake.”)

Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)

ft0p3003d3_00003

In keeping with both the spirit and  letter of those two guiding lights shining over Teeville*, I will write a quick Thank2 and head out to work, eventually to return and get caught up with all today’s Comments and blog Posts and such.

I liked the approach I read in one of yesterday’s Posts, where the items of gratitude are indicated, rather subtly with numbers (in parenthesiseses). As such, I feeling comfortable claiming Rebecca’s style at ‘Frog in Paris‘ as (1). Let’s jump to the big item for today: I need everyone’s help to continue developing the ‘Pre-dominant Worldview Assessment Test‘. This is located on the ‘home page’ of the Doctrine, sort  of in the middle. What it, (the Pre-dominant Assessment) is, is the a series of life situations which ask the Reader to pick the response most like the response they would exhibit, were they to encounter the situation. The ‘answers’ are, of course, written from the perspective of the clarklike, the scottian and the rogerian worldviews. I would really appreciate it (2) if you would write, (in Comments), some of the conflict/life situations that you can imagine, as we make our way through our daily lives.  Don’t worry about providing the ‘the answers’, just write a scenario, I’ll take it from there. As many as you would choose to send (if we use your scenario, I will include a link to your blog as attribution)… so come on, give me your lives!

(Thank you) (3).

Guess who called in to the Wakefield Doctrine Saturday Night Drive Call in?  Well… I’ll wait. In fact, I’ll continue with my Grat List while you come up with your Answer. Free Wakefield Doctrine Spring Season Chest Covering** to anyone who correctly answers!! Speaking of Wakefield Doctrine Spring/Summer Chest Coverings, I want to thank Beth for raising my awareness of the plight of the chests of Doctrine Followers(4). While we at Wakefield Doctrine, have always had some form of branded fashion, starting  with our Wakefield Doctrine hats (“…for your damn head”) which were replaced by our over-sized Wakefield Doctrine docTees, Beth and (Denise and Michelle), have made me realize that there is a need for …more fashion! I do admit to needing input, being fashionistically-impaired, in my defense, I did grow up in Y Chromeville and do not have a clue of the names of styles and such. So tell us what you would like to see in terms of Wakefield Doctrine official (because it does have a trademark!) fashion designs and I will do my best to satisfy.

I want to say I am grateful that Kristi manages to stop by the Friday Night Vidchat most ever Friday night. Appropriately, she tends to arrive late when the party needs a bit of a jumpstart, when she joins us, I feel like my ex-wife-who-I-loved-but-totally-couldn’t-keep-up-with-but-we-still-have-some-of-the-old-fun is stopping in to help with the party that I throw each Friday with Lizzi and Michelle and zoe. I cite the Friday vidchat as Item Five (5)

I need to hurry this list, as it’s 8 am and I need to get my head into work mode. It is my experience that I am either writing a Post (or Commenting) or I am working, but never both. And I don’t mean this in a simply ‘scheduling’ sense, that I will stop work, write a little and then back to work. I totally need to set aside ‘writing’ and get into a different frame of mind, in order to be effective at my work. Hey! I would appreciate it (6) if any of you Readers have experience with this and maybe let us know how you manage to cope? Cool.

I was very grateful this week to (Jean)‘s Comment on my V-Post (7), (my effort to tell the story of ‘the scottian Physician’s Assistant and the clark’) it was trying but, ultimately satisfying. Reading her reflections on my efforts was helpful to me (8).

OK  times up! Contest over. You know who stopped by last night?  Molly! (aka on ‘the FB’ as Seven Ravens)! Molly has the distinction of being the first person to step forward and demonstrate that she ‘got the Doctrine’ entirely on the basis of reading the blog. Damn, huh?  I’ve always maintained that you Readers are exceptional people. And I say this sincerely, and I am not running down my own writing skills, but the level of imagination and insight that is required to take my descriptions of our little personality theory and understand it correctly.   bravo, yo…bravo.

So I’m glad that I had the call-in lines open last night at 8:00 pm EST (9)  Hey if you don’t have the chance to join us on the vidchats, by all means call us on the phone any Saturday Night.

(10) is for Mz Rogers… (not only) for creating this here bloghop here, but for nurturing and supporting and adjusting as all the things that happen to all successful blogs happen to the TToT. She deserves a round of applesauce.

(Send in your damn life scenaria!)

clarkscottroger About clarkscottroger
Well, what exactly do you want to know? Whether I am a clark or a scott or roger? If you have to ask, then you need to keep reading the Posts for two reasons: a)to get a clear enough understanding to be able to make the determination of which type I am and 2) to realize that by definition I am all three.* *which is true for you as well, all three...but mostly one

    DocTANK

  2. Lizzi R says:

And also FRIST and SECUND and I learned today from Anna Kendrick (on some show with some idiotic blond dude) about fingerbagging cleavage (see? I follow your themes) and that is something which wouldn’t be possible with a DocTee, but the thought of which might make you move your ass on the DocTank issue.

So I can wear one when I come on my Bloggy Tour of America.

docTank it is!! (if you told me when I was 19 years old, “clark? listen… mid-point in your life you will have an insight into human behavior that will yield a tool of understanding human nature of a sort never seen and you will then spend the next 30 years taking your epiphany and finding ways to express it so that anyone, anywhere can amuse and improve themselves and at the end of your 30 Year effort you will be rewarded, you will be granted the Official Right to stare at women’s chests and boobs and such and they will not be mad that you are so staring”

I’ll check this week too see if there is a catalog at my printers, that would make my life so damn simple if I could post the actually clothing and let people pick and all.

  3. I have a son visiting today…
    he’s in from L A !!!
    V necked cotton is OK,
I’ll return later and add my say,

    jeh-nay

  4. bethteliho says:

Okay, I have to say Jny was quite genius with her poetic comment! How can I possibly follow that? haha

Yes, Tank Top. Very important, and I’m thrilled you came away from that vidchat convo with knowledge of what women like to wear. (and thanks for the shout out).

    Life scenarios? Hmmm.
    1. You’re at the airport and an employee announces the baggage will be arriving late. A fellow passenger commences with ugly, disrespectful, downright bratty behavior towards the employee (as if it’s even his fault). How do you react to this?

    • clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

      Beth

like the scenario: Will ‘write it up’ with the three ‘answers’ and print it here (and add it to the Self-Assessment).

      thank you

  5. zoe says:

so , do the scenarios limit themselves to interpersonal interactions or are personal decisions that would only effect the decider also a part of ones indoctrination?

    • clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

      zoe

I think we want more the ‘common life situations’ at least for now. The idea of the assessment is that people will ‘recognize’ the encounters/conflicts and there (should) be comfortable picking one of the three ‘answers’.

      • zoe says:

I wasn’t thinking of you’re Hitler in the bunker do you kill Eva first or yourself….lol
perhaps a bit more run o the mill… but I can stick to a multiple person scenario…no worries…

        • clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

          zoe

wait! maybe there’s something there with the hitler Eva thing! lol I would not be so concerned as to finding the scenaria on the basis of running to a multiple context (we do ‘everyone does everything…’) I am more helpful for simple, everyday situations that we all encounter (and therefore everyone will be able to identify with)…the reflection of the three worldview is that work/hardpart but I’m not too concerned with that…just that I ran out of… you’re in line at the supermarket….kind of conflicts, ya know?

        • zoe says:

ok… so you call a friend to go out with some other friends and she cant because her husband is going out for a guys night. While you and the others are out, you notice across the room the husband of your other friend and he is obviously not with the guys, but with another woman to whom he is paying more attention than a married man ought. Its obvious what’s going on… what do you do?

          • zoe says:

shit this one isn’t run o the mill enough then… I just read your comment…we musta been typing at the same time…

            • clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

no, actually I like that one (the cheating wife one)… lol spouse, then I will work on that one

              thanks!

  6. You are at a meeting but are not running it. The head person makes a mistake and only you appear to realize it. It is a mistake which will affect someone who is not you. What do you do and how? jeh

  7. You want Italian Food, and the rest of the family–3 people,.. want Chinese food. what happens next?

  8. Your husband cheats on you. Not your friend’s husband. YOUR husband. You find out when he TELLS YOU. what do you do?

THAT is all I got for today!!! :)

    • clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

      uh…. ok

lol thank you for the scenaria will work on them see what I can add to the list… hell, now that I think of it, I’ll just add them to tomorrow’s Post, work on them there (yeah, sort of like the restaurant with the chef in the window.
