Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine ( the theory and practice of conceptualizing life as being experienced in one of three characteristic ways, as clarks or as scotts or as rogers)

About that Drive Last Night, two words: excellent!

In attendio: Jennifer Wilson, Steve Crabtree, Molly and DS#1  (Oh! wait have some video footage… never mind, just a fishing boat passing in front of us as were all talking… we’ve done that before… here.)

In any event, a good, damn Saturday Night Drive.

Topics: football wagering, Time Zones, Biker Bars, the two women in the photo with Steve, the role of the Secondary Aspect, rogers, playing the drums, self-development using the Wakefield Doctrine, identifying the pre-dominant personality types, who the heck DS#1 was (or rather what DS#1’s other names might be*, the Secret Rule of picking your own pre-dominant worldview and how most motorcycle clubs no matter how ferocious and/or aggressive in appearance, consist mostly of rogers, (as well as): taking a vote on whether we should invest in hats! or shirts! (votes are still coming in… vote in the Comment section below: Hats?: Si or nada  DocTees?: oui or nyet ), who-the-heck-is-DS#1?, the origin of Secondary Aspects and the fact that the Wakefield Doctrine says, ‘it is not what you are, it’s where you are’! (which means that we are not concerned with the habits and traits, likes and dislikes of a person, it is the worldview that you are existing in that tell us so very much about you as a person. Put it another way, drop a woman (at the age of 3-5) into the worldview of the Outsider…come back in 31 years and you will surely find yourself saying, “hmm, where did you say you got those barbwire earrings?…love the purple highlights in your eyebrows” and if you take a boy child and leave him with some pack in the worldview of Predators/Prey, the adult you meet 28 years later will be found telling the crowd at the PTA Bake Sale increasingly off-color jokes and you will say, “dude! you are outrageous! where can I get a group of people to gather around me when I go out?”
It is about inferring the reality that the other person is experiencing that allows the Doctrine to tell you way more about that person than they would want you know. Dig?

Oh  yeah!  as a result of  Steve’s insistence: either Molly has to move to the West Coast (and gain an hour advantage when calling in on Saturday Nights) or we need to have a new Caller who lives in the Pacific Time Zone show up next Saturday. This will give us the full “4 Hour Trifecta” of Call-in blogs. Come on! California!! (We will accept a Caller from Oregon or Washington or Mexico, provided you can produce credentials that document sufficient West Coast cool.)

In any event, seeing how we have already hit our target market penetration of: 7.0966153e-10 %  calling in to the Wakefield Doctrine Saturday Night Drive… y’all better hurry up! You have been reading faithfully for this long, what do you say we push that allowable percentage of the population of the world number up a smidge? (I got some ‘pull’ around here, I’ll totally take care of you)
Next Saturday… only accepting 7.0966163e-10 % of the population as Callers…everyone else will simply have to wait in the queue … which reminds me!  Hey Nell!! Claire…Jenny! Alexandra Bobbi!  I totally took Jenny’s suggestion and now have ‘the Skype’  ring me up!

(Hey K!  hey!  S   hey! Haley  call us next Saturday! yo)

(…Jasmine..?  we know you know you want to call…hell you have your very own parenthetical aside… cawl uz!)

* One of the things that is both real good and kinda not so helpful about the Saturday Night Drive Call-in,  is that we are awful polite, at least for your first call! As you will hear when you call in, the womanly announcer asks (rather sweetly) that you identify yourself and you can pick any damn name you want!  thats the clark influence…. we have a slight jones for privacy

I worked on a Post Saturday morning, couldn’t get it to come together. What I did write was another way to look at the Wakefield Doctrine, and while it is totally inappropriate to today’s Post, I couldn’t bear to delete it.* So for you hard-core Doctrine fans, the following is the beginnings of the Saturday Post that never got published: (blockquotes to make it look deliberate):

The Wakefield Doctrine is system of psychological classification of people. It starts with the idea that we all live in what can best be termed, personal realities. A personal reality (sometimes referred to as a worldview ) is not only the description of the world as a person perceives it, but connotes the relationship (that the individual) maintains with their day-to-day world. The way that a person relates to the world around them is everything, it determines how a person decides to behave, the social strategies they develop as they proceed through their lives, in other words, the individual’s personality type arises from their personal relationship to the world.
The Wakefield Doctrine begins with the idea that there are three characteristic worldviews and that what people refer to as personality types, is simply the typical behavior and social strategies that are inevitable when growing up and living and developing in a particular worldview. That there are only three worldviews that all people are heir to, is a fundamental principle in the Wakefield Doctrine. The effectiveness of the Wakefield Doctrine as a system of classification is validated when the range of

Well, what exactly do you want to know? Whether I am a clark or a scott or roger? If you have to ask, then you need to keep reading the Posts for two reasons: a)to get a clear enough understanding to be able to make the determination of which type I am and 2) to realize that by definition I am all three.* *which is true for you as well, all three...but mostly one
