Hey! Did you know that there are 3 worldviews that everyone lives their lives in? the Wakefield Doctrine says there is, so who are we to disagree?

Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (“…the view from outside, how it looks in the distance, the perspective from the inside “)

The Wakefield Doctrine is a perspective on life. Might as well say ‘Life’, because we are not limiting ourselves to the biological ‘age and run down and finally die‘, nor are we remaining on the sociological level in terms of  ‘the people in our lives and the people who influence our lives and the people who limit our lives‘, and we are so not  ‘staying in the here and now…live until you die…eat+drink+reproduce+sleep life of the predator‘.
The Wakefield Doctrine‘s Life that it is talking about is:

  • this screen you are looking at to read these words
  • the money you spent to buy the device that you are looking at
  • the job or the parents or the free-at-a-cost source of money that allowed you to buy the device
  • the reason you enjoy this blog or the reason you need to be distracted, if only for a moment
  • the hope that you can learn, the fear that you might miss out on or the confidence that you are in the right place
  • all of these things, the people (and the way that we feel about them) the places (where we are and we hope to be and regret getting to) and things (that may help us or hurt us or change things forever in our lives)
In short, the Life that we talk about here at the Wakefield Doctrine is the Life that happens to you. We sometimes call this (your) worldview other times we might say, ‘your personal reality‘, we always mean the world that you wake up to and life and work and hate and love and fear.
We say that the Doctrine is a ‘perspective’ because we are offering a different view of the same thing that we all possess. We all may live on the planet Earth (even the clarks1) and we all can read the newspapers that tell us what is happening in the world at large.
The Wakefield Doctrine does not care about the world at large. We care about the world at small. The world that you and I and us experience today seems to match up/resemble/have the characteristics of the three worldviews of the Wakefield Doctrine:
  1. the world of the Outsider (clarks)
  2. the world of the predator (scotts)
  3. the world of the herd member (rogers)
Simple in outline. Foolproof within it’s own definition. Very difficult for most people to imagine.
Try it. What ‘cha got to lose?

Well, what exactly do you want to know? Whether I am a clark or a scott or roger? If you have to ask, then you need to keep reading the Posts for two reasons: a)to get a clear enough understanding to be able to make the determination of which type I am and 2) to realize that by definition I am all three.* *which is true for you as well, all three...but mostly one

The words are all true. In essence, the Doctrine is all of these things and yet…..and yet folks are hesitant to comment? Self Conscious? (people would laugh at me or worse, ignore me, if I started talking about the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers) Are folks frightened? Maybe. In the way when you cover your eyes with your hands during the scary part of a movie only you decide to take a little peek by squinting, then opening your fingers just a tiny bit so you can sort of, but not really, but yes you can, see the monster or the ghost or the man with the chainsaw. In the end, you find it wasn’t all that scary afterall.

Imagine the Wakefield Doctrine being discussed, explored, and talked about on Oprah(back in the day) or Ellen or the View or any popular (with the rogers) cable programs….Better yet. Consider Dr. Oz presenting the Wakefield Doctrine, the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers on his show in a “How to Live Life Better and be Healthier and Happier” segment – HOLY SHIT! There would not be a single individual on the planet who would not eventually know and embrace what the Wakefield Doctrine has to offer.

    This shouldn’t be free.
