Short Post today, as we have to put the ‘finishing touches’¹ on the material for tomorrow’s Video Friday. In the interest of directness, three questions:

1. Well, which came first?  the Wakefield Doctrine or the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers ?
2. (And since we are on the topic),  who the hell is this clark and scott, never mind ‘the roger’?!
3. (Finally), where are these people now and what is the easiest way to find them in your own circle of people?

( Respected and reliable sources within the Wakefield Doctrine have been advising the use of bullet points in the presentation of facts and ideas associated with the Doctrine. We not going to mention any names  out of respect for the privacy of  Molly and DS#1 and MS AKH!! Discretion and the maintaining of discrete-hood, while important to the roger  so we will not betray any of this to the werld. Hey guys!  your secret advice is safe with me…and no! DS#1  I don’t think that DownSpring glenn is ‘getting a little slow, losing a step’, not in the least. )
So if bullet points is what it takes to get people to Comment, then Bullet Points it is!  ( I couldn’t get the program to let me put bullets under ‘numbered items’ so following are the ‘bulleted answers to the numbered points above!)

• the (term) Wakefield Doctrine was created (in the hopes of)  imbuing the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers with a little….gravitas   (you know, more rogerian)
• the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers  came about because there were 3 people who demonstrated the idea that there are three ways for people to perceive the world, three distinctly different, yet overlapping ways of experiencing reality
• (you didn’t ask but): all three (people)  are still active and above ground, the progenitor roger can be found turning up on these pages at intervals (meant to maximise the ‘where has roger been’ effect); the progenitor scott is less directly active in the day to day Doctrine, devoting his time to several solo projects…the role of scottian advisor has been taken up ensemble by DownSpring glenn and Ms AKH

• damn!  funny how these things work…am all done with the bullet point gimmick ( hell, since we seem to have ‘finished early’ lets give you Readers your money’s worth, i.e. new information about the Doctrine ) so here goes:

If you are currently at work or at school:   Quick, look around the room!  The first person to look back at you and not pretend they were not (looking back at you) there’s your scott!
         That other person, the one who pretended to not notice your looking around?…clark  
…everyone else:   rogers!

1) of course, by ‘finsihing touches’ we mean: a) come up with the merest hint of an idea that does not totally suck, followed by b) find some way to get on video something/anything that does not cause my head (to) swell up and my face (to) fall.
